prospectus

My prospectus is officially filed. Got all the signatures from my committee, the grad coordinator, etc. I wish I felt more excited about it, but it's such a joke. My thesis will be on the topic that's in the prospectus, obviously, but other than that it will bear little or no resemblance to the outline I made. I need to reorganize the information I have, and determine what the actual point of the whole project is - you know, like, come up with some kind of "thesis." In theory, I'm supposed to have at least an outline done by December 15th so I can give it to Blackwood. Yeah, that'll happen.

Hurrah for filing prospecti! That is not the plural form. I think prospectus is probably a 4th declension noun, which means that the plural is probably prospectus with a long u... Yes. Sad that I can figure that out. I've had too much Latin...

Show off. You know I never took Latin. Fine, what's the plural of octopus, then?

LOL Are you kidding? I LOOKED IT UP in my dictionary. You think I really figured that one out on my own? Hee hee. Well, for all intents and purposes, I suspect the plural of octopus is octo-kitties.
